Peterson Earns Pilgrim League Weekly Honors

Springfield, Mass. - E.J. Peterson lifted the Babson College Beavers to their first victory of the 2009 season and was named the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week, the conference announced.

All member schools except for Norwich have started their 2009 seasons with Babson, Springfield, Lasell, and Mass. Maritime all recording wins so far this season.  The Norwich Cadets season is set to get underway on Saturday when it travels to take on Becker. 

Peterson had a terrific week for Babson, totaling eight goals and four assists for 12 points in a pair of games. Peterson's nine points against Gordon is the highest-point total by an individual in the Pilgrim League this season.
