On the women’s side, Blumenthal helped coach the women's team to back-to-back NEWMAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, with the Beavers advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2010.

"I would like to thank Regis College Athletic Director Dr. Marybeth Lamb and Regis College for the opportunity to be a head coach at a truly wonderful institution," Blumenthal said. "I am extremely excited to work with the Regis Athletics Department, and I hope I can build upon the foundation already set and help the lacrosse program get to the next level."

Blumenthal has a diverse coaching background serving as a coach at the NCAA Division II, III and high school levels. Prior to his work at Babson, Blumenthal was an assistant coach at Northeast-10 powerhouse Adelphi University where he worked primarily with the goalies and in operations.

He led his team to a top-10 finish in South Florida in three of his four seasons and produced numerous All-State players, a County MVP, Academic All-American and 4 senior athletes of the year. In 2006 he was named Miami-Dade County Coach of the Year. Blumenthal also served as associate head coach and offensive coordinator for the U19 Bermuda National Team in the summer of 2008.

Blumenthal also worked in a number of high profile public relations departments during and after his time at URI, including various roles for the New Jersey Storm of the NLL, the New York Power of the WUSA, the National Lacrosse League, and the National Hockey League.
