Pilgrim League Tournament Pairings Set As Regular Season Concludes

Springfield, Mass. - With the regular season coming to a close on Sunday, the four teams that have qualified for the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Tournament have been decided.  Springfield, Wheaton, MIT, and Babson will battle it out this week for an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Defending champion Springfield will be the top seed in the tournament and will host fourth-seeded Babson on Wednesday under the lights at 7:00 pm.

After downing Babson 12-11 on Sunday, the Wheaton Lyons earn the second-seed in the tournament and will square off against third-seeded MIT on Wednesday at 4:00 pm.

The winners will then play on Saturday, May 2nd for the right to play in the NCAA Tournament.
