Runyon Named Pilgrim Player of the Week

Weekly Report #1

Springfield, Mass. - With the 2009 season underway across the country, several member schools of the Pilgrim Lacrosse League seasons have kicked off as well.  Springfield's Shawn Runyon was the named the Player of the Week after leading the Pride to a pair of victories last week in the league's first weekly report.

Five schools have already played this season, with Springfield owning a 2-2 record through four games.  Clark, Lasell, and MIT each dropped their season opener, while Babson is still searching for its first victory after three games this year.
