Yepez Chosen As Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week
Springfield, Mass. - Lasell's Brian Lepez has been selected as the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player after leading his team to a pair of conference victories.
The senior attackman led the Lasers to two Pilgrim League victories, averaging six points per game, after totaling six goals and six assists.
Yepez opened the week as unloaded eight points in a 12-10 win over Wheaton, scoring five goals and dishing out three assists. He then added one goal and three assists in a 13-5 win over Norwich.
Teams will play their final regular season conference games this week with playoff implications on the line. Springfield is the lone undefeated team in the league and can lock up the top seed for the upcoming tournament with a win at Babson on Saturday. The other three spots are up for grabs as other than Springfield and Lasell, the six other teams will play a pair of league games over the next six days.
