McNamara Nabs Pilgrim Player of the Week Honors

Springfield, Mass. - March 21, 2011 - Junior Billy McNamara took home Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week honors after guiding Wheaton College to a 1-1 week.

McNamara netted 10 goals while handing out seven assists as he powered Wheaton's attack.  In Saturday's 20-8 victory at Husson, he finished with six tallies and three helpers. On Wednesday, McNamara recorded four goals and four assists in a 14-13 overtime loss to Manhattanville during a neutral-site game in Maryland.
