Patinkin Earns Pilgrim Weekly Honors

Springfield, Mass. - April 11, 2011 - Babson College sophomore Alex Patinkin was named the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week after his nine-point performance lifted Babson to a win in its only game last week.

In Babson's 19-14 victory over Wheaton on Saturday, the sophomore led all players with five goals and four assists for nine points while also picking up a game-high seven groundballs. Patinkin assisted Jamie Schmidt on what would prove to be the game-winning goal with 8:47 left in the fourth, and then netted three straight goals late in the period to put the game out of reach.

He now leads Babson with 21 goals and 18 assists for 39 points in 10 games this season.
